Attend the Festival

The International Morelia Film Festival offers a great variety of activities that will make your stay in the capital of Michoacán an unforgettable cinematographic and tourist experience.

During the festival, movies from the four official sections will be screened in addition to a selection of films from the International Critics' Week section of the Cannes Film Festival. There will be premieres of national and international films, tributes, conferences and events in different parts of the city.

Admission cost to Cinépolis Morelia is 35 pesos or a packet of four discount tickets can be purchased for 120 pesos. There will also be free outdoor screenings, conferences and exhibitions in other FICM venues.

Morelia is a spectacular 16th century colonial city declared a World Heritage site by UNESCO. Visitors can walk along cobblestone streets from one venue to another while admiring beautiful architectural landmarks, such as the majestic pink stone cathedral.
